At Footloose Performance Studios our Company is an incredible way for dancers to improve their skills and build confidence with more opportunities to perform on stage. Company is designed for students who are passionate and committed to improving and dancers are required to take specific classes to enhance their dance training.

Company Ages are based on Dancer's Year of Birth as specified below:
6/U Company - 2019 & 2020

8/U Company - 2017 & 2018

10/U Company - 2015 & 2016

12/U Company - 2013 & 2014

14/U Company - 2011 & 2012

Please Note: Company Ages are based on your child's age as at 1st January. This is different to our Recreational Class Ages which are based on School Year.

All Company Members are required to attend Company Choreography Camp on the weekend of Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th February 2025. This is a compulsory Camp where company dancers will learn the choreography for their routines. Most Dancers will not be required for the whole weekend, however Company Members are required to keep the whole weekend free until the Company Camp Schedule is released in early January to ensure they are available.

Each year our Company Dancers will compete in several Eisteddfods throughout Terms 2 & 3 held at various locations across Sydney. Attendance at all Eisteddfods is Compulsory. Some Company classes may also have the opportunity to perform at additional events throughout the year such as School Fetes and Local Carols Events in December. These are not compulsory and are subject to availability of members. Approximate Eisteddfod Dates are advised early in Term 1. It is expected that these events take priority over other activities and students should save the potential Eisteddfod dates when they are first advised to ensure they will be available.

Company Class Fees are calculated as per our regular class fee structure based on the total number of classes taken.

Additional Company Related Costs are outlined below:

COMPANY CAMP - $50

COSTUMES

Approximately $120. A deposit of $50 per class will be added to accounts in Term 1 with the balance added to accounts in Term 2.

All students will also require Tan Stockings and Black Jazz Shoes for all performances. These can be purchased separately from our Studio Reception.

FOOTLOOSE JACKET

All Company students are required to have a Footloose Jacket / Jumper to be worn when representing our Studio at all Eisteddfod and Community Events.
